Merry Christmas 2008 By posix Added on Thursday, 25 December 2008

On behalf of the NewElement Staff, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year!!

As your christmas present, we have a multi-release of 3 new designs by big names such as Turtle, Roomie and RRP, and a new RCTLL Spotlight by Loopy, something I am personally very fond of because I would not have thought we would see an RCTLL Spotlight at this site again. So two of your presents are RCTLL and the other two are RCT2. Like this there is something for everyone.

I hope you all spend kind moments with your families until we hit 2009 where we plan to go strong again!

Since joining New Element in early 2007, DelLagos has proven to be quite the parkmaking force. With his unique style that is a hit-or-miss with most people, he has managed to earn two NE Designs with Toxicity and Yggadrasil. DelLagos also boasts quite a few "Honorable Mentions" as well as what seems to be an innumerable amount of projects in the Ad District. He has been advertising one project in particular over the past few months, one that has finally culminated as DelLagos’ third NE Design Alpelynia. Read on

New Design: Sabretooth By geewhzz Added on Monday, 15 December 2008

It's apparent the old saying third time's a charm isn't always true. Comet strikes gold with his second design submission in a matter of two months. Zephyr, his first attempt at design just missed with a score of 11.55 showing he needed just a bit more to make it over the 13.00 threshold. Sabretooth barely squeezes by with a score of 13.08. We know Comet has the drive to finish small projects, but does he have the motivation to finish something bigger? He teased us a few months back claiming to have given up on Bayside Amusement Park. Still unreleased, everyone must be wondering if Comet has an Ace up his sleeve in the coming months. Read on

With so much going on around New Element it's easy for everyone to overlook great players hiding in the background. With Liviani's Alameda Pier being over a year in the making, hopefully Tolsimir starts getting the recognition he deserves around here boasting his first Accolade. It's time for New Element to wake up and stop sleeping on him. Making his debut in NE's Micro Madness contest, he shows off a less refined style with round 1 loser Matatu's Journey to Magnus. Since, he has flooded the scene with two back-to-back mini parks, Tolsimir's Worldtour which won Year 2002 in the RCT Avenged Clockworks contest, and Maghreb which won September 2008 Road Rally contest at RCTspace. Tolsimir has also dropped hints at what's to come in NE's Fiestas! and included a unique winter-themed Micro Park. Read On ...

New Design: Valhalla By posix Added on Monday, 01 December 2008

Wait, what? RRP, that guy who won a lot of stuff several years ago and became an LL legend is playing again? With this new Design it would appear rctrealpark is back after a long hiatus from RCT, now set to dominate the RCT2 scene. RRP's resume at NE is quite impressive, boasting a record of four previous NE Designs under his belt: Slyvol, Son of Beast, the Great American Screamer and Vesuvius Stampede which was one of the first ever RCT2 designs on the site. Add to that two fantastic Spotlights: Busch Gardens Lichfield and Sea World Atlanta which ranked #1 on iris' List and he has placed high in several contests. Now it's time to chalk up design number five and with it RRP proves that he has worked up the drive to produce fully finished projects and not just solo screens. Read on
